MATERIAL
Nylon
Our 500, 600, 750 and 1000 Denier Nylon is a heavy duty nylon fabric, finished with a clear polyurethane back coating. Selected wisely that could afford our needs of the best fabrics out there without sacrificing the quality demands at any reason.
Rip Stop
This light weight nylon rip stop fabric is strong and durable due to the cross hatch pattern of nylon threads woven into the fabrics. Simple, light, easy to fold and easy carry material.
PVC Tarpaulin
Our Kraken Dry Bag series is constructed with ultra-tough 500D PVC Tarpaulin material. A tarpaulin (US: /ˈtɑːrpəlɪn/, UK: /tɑːrˈpɔːlɪn/), or tarp, is a large sheet of strong, flexible, water-resistant or waterproof material, often cloth such as canvas or polyester coated with urethane, or made of plastics such as polyethylene. It’s stain resistant, anti-static, UV protected, anti-bacterial, and temperature resistant. What’s most important though is that it has an incredibly high tear strength and it’s pliable so you can easily load up and close the bag without struggle.
Zipper
The Vislon(r) of YKK zipper is made of injected plastic elements, such as polyacetal resin. It is lighter and run smoother than metal zippers of the same size.
Webbing
Very heavy weave of nylon flat webbing with soft feel and high strength. Perfect material for timeless condition.
Leather
Vegetable tanning is the traditional method of tanning. Over time the tanned hide will starts to take on patina that is unique to the user.

CARE
Fabric
We recommend hand-washing your Bellwood Channel bag with a mild detergent — environmentally friendly dish soaps work well, but as always, with any soap, test it on a small, inconspicuous area of the bag before you use it on the entire bag. Fill your sink or bathtub with warm water, add a little soap (a little goes a long way), and let the bag soak for a half hour. If there are visible spots of dirt, gently rub the area with a washcloth, or you can apply a little soap directly to that spot and let it soak. Rinse your bag thoroughly (this is a lot easier if you've only used a little bit of soap) and lay your bag flat on top of a bath towel to dry.
Leather
Bellwood Channel only using selected vegetable tanned leather, developed with finest quality of natural hides. The grain has a character of it's own, often displaying natural markings that lend into beauty and refinement to the patina of this finest material. Possible marks and scratches are to be seen as a natural part of the leather and cannot be regarded as a fault.
Overtime, sunlight, oils, dirt and other factors will burnish the leather, rendering into an individual patina that only adds to its beauty. Vegetable tanned leather is a sturdy and hard-wearing natural materials that can last for many years but it does have a limits. Therefore avoid extreme temperatures, overly harsh use and direct contact with wet and moist surface.
We're recommends treating full grain leather with our leather conditioner when necessary. Leather conditioner provides moisture to keep the leather supple and ensure it does not dry out, fade or crack. Treatment with leather conditioner also waterproofing yet give your leather goods even more character.
